Description
Financial One Credit Union is seeking an AVP / Branch Manager for our Coon Rapids office. The individual filling this position will monitor the day-to-day operations of the Credit Union and staff, participate as a member of the leadership team, and ensure compliance regulations and laws.

The AVP / Branch Manager will:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Credit Union
- Hire, manage and develop staff
- Ensure staff provide exceptional service to members; address escalated issues
- Ensure the Credit Union is in compliance with all regulations and laws
- Perform audits of the tellers and FSRs in relation to accuracy, member service, attainment of branch and corporate goals, quality of work, and compliance
- Monitor attainment of established sales goals for the Credit Union’s products and services, and establish standards to ensure quality service delivery.
- Coordinate deposit, lending, and member services functions in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures
- Approve and deny loan applications based on lending limits and within Financial One’s lending guidelines. Perform all aspects of the lending process from application to disbursement.
- Establish professional relationships with local businesses and members of the community to increase the office's presence in the community.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4 year degree in business or related field preferred
- 5 + years’ experience in the financial services industry
- Prior management experience
- Ability to interpret and correctly use banking forms, have a working knowledge of bank operations and the laws and regulations that govern credit unions.
- General math skills including, but not limited to; addition, subtraction, percentages, multiplication, interest, amortization and division.
- Ability to concentrate, use reasoning, and analyze situations.
- The awareness to remain alert to the members' needs, be resourceful, and solve problems
