What will you do?
You will gain exposure to all aspects of running a small business, while expanding your HR body of knowledge.
HR responsibilities:
- Recruiting: job postings, candidate screening, background checks, offer letters
- HR audit and compliance
- Policy development
- Research employment law
- Respond to HR hotline calls
Business responsibilities:
- Represent Blue Moon HR at business meetings and external networking events
- Regularly interface with business owners
- Conduct demonstrations of the Blue Moon HR website and services overview
- Client onboarding and daily account management
- Research potential new customers and channel partnerships
- Update website content and blog
30 - 40 hours per month with monthly stipend. Regular attendance at early morning networking meetings is required. This is a ground level opportunity for someone who thrives on engaging with people, is eager to expand their business knowledge and ideally has an HR interest of education. This position has the opportunity to grow into a full time HR Generalist and / or account management position
