Assistant Vice President of Indirect Lending
Financial One Credit Union is seeking an AVP to drive indirect loan growth and manage dealer relationships. The position is responsible for the development, evolution and oversight of the indirect lending program and will oversee the development of risk management and mitigation tools.

The AVP of Indirect Lending will:
- Directly oversee the indirect lending program and all its operations.
- Build and enhance relationships with new and existing auto dealers and other indirect dealerships.
- Answer questions, resolve issues, and provide a process that facilitates a smooth transition between dealer and credit union.
- Maintain knowledge of competitors’ rates and terms and other trends relating to auto loans or indirect lending.
- Process, underwrite and disburse both direct and indirect consumer loans
- Develop and maintain a business plan to increase the penetration of the indirect auto market.
- Ensures that indirect lending policies and procedures are adhered too. Ensures compliance with state and federal lending laws.
- Coordinate marketing requirements with the marketing manager Develop, implement, and maintain system tools to track and analyze indirect lending programs. Provide reports to members of the senior management team and/or Board of Directors.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 3 years of loan underwriting experience, 2+ years back off loan processing
- Experience in managing loan portfolios, product development and staff management
- Knowledge of financial institution products, services and policies, and knowledge of government regulations related to lending, collections, insurance, etc. General math skills including, but not limited to; addition, subtraction, percentages, multiplication, interest, amortization and division
