Data Specialist – CSC Program
Guadalupe Alternative Programs (GAP) is a community-based education and social service agency serving at-risk individuals throughout the Twin Cities. GAP’s mission is to empower communities challenged by transition and poverty through education and enrichment opportunities, social and emotional support, and training that leads to employment. GAP serves children and youth at high-risk of school failure, and immigrants and refugees seeking to create a better life in this country. The Community School Collaborative (CSC) is a school based mental health program, created through a partnership with GAP and, a local community agency, Change Inc. The CSC serves urban children, youth and families in schools located in Minneapolis and Saint Paul.

Data Specialist – CSC Program
The Data Specialist – CSC Program will enter, track and report data for the Community School Collaborative (CSC) as well as monitor other data. This position will also train and teach other staff to use the CSC and funder system.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinates grant and government reporting
- Enters required data (assessments, services, etc.) for CSC students
- Monitors data entry for DHS subgrantee participants
- Enters additional notes and data into funder portals as required (MNITs and MNKids)
- Communicates with CSC Operations Manager and individual therapists as appropriate to ensure complete data collection
- Provide administrative support to the CSC team
- Serve as a technology and data specialist for the CSC.
- Trains and teaches other staff to use CSC’s Electronic Health Record and funder systems
- Backup CSC Billing Specialist as requested​​​​​​​
- Represent GAP professionally in every interaction
- Follow company policies, processes and documentation requirements
- Communicate constructively with coworkers, supervisors, vendors and customers

- Perform other duties as needed to meet agency and staff needs.
Qualifications
Required:
- Education: Associates degree in business administration, accounting, related field or equivalent education and experience
- Experience: 2+ years performing similar duties requiring attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Software: intermediate level MS office, Electronic Health Records, and database skills
- Interpersonal: Must be able to interact with staff, students and funders in a congenial and respectful manner
Preferred:
- Intermediate to advanced database skills
- Experience in the healthcare field
- Bilingual: Spanish, Hmong, Karen, Somali
