Data Specialist – YET Program
The YET Data Specialist will coordinate grant and government reporting for Youth Employment and Training (YET) Program including supporting staff members through data entry, monitoring and reporting processes.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinates grant and government reporting
- Monitors and completes data entry in GAP’s client record management system
- Enters required data for GAP’s Youth Employment and Training program participants into four key funder portals
- Works with Youth Employment and Training program staff to ensure reports are assembled accurately and submitted on time
- Provide administrative support to the Youth Employment and Training team
- Serve as a technology and data specialist for YET
- Trains and teaches other staff to use YET and funder systems
- Collects and monitors students’ community volunteer hours for GAP’s YouthBuild AmeriCorps program
- Facilitates background check process for students enrolled in GAP’s YouthBuild AmeriCorps program
- Serves as backup GAP receptionist as requested​​​​​​​
- Represent GAP professionally in every interaction
- Follow company policies, processes and documentation requirements
- Communicate constructively with coworkers, supervisors, vendors and customers

Qualifications
Required:
- Education: Associates degree in business administration, accounting, related field or equivalent education and experience
- Experience: 2+ years performing similar duties requiring attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Software: intermediate level MS office and database skills
- Interpersonal: Must be able to interact with staff, students and funders in a congenial and respectful manner
Preferred:
- Intermediate to advanced database skills
- Bilingual: Spanish, Hmong, Karen, Somali

Physical Requirements
