Lifetrack is currently recruiting a part-time (approximately 24 hours per week) Senior HR Generalist to manage day-to-day HR Operations. Reporting to senior leadership, this is a hands-on HR position. This position has the opportunity to grow into a senior leadership positions. Primary accountabilities include:
- Daily HR operations
- Coordinate compensation and benefits administration
- Supervise payroll clerk (back up payroll in clerk’s absence)
- Partners with Finance to evaluate compensation and benefit programs
- Monitor HR trends and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
- Maintain awareness of HR best practices
- Process status changes, benefit changes, annual performance review process, etc.
- Coordinates and conducts staff training on HR-related topics
- Human Resources support to managers
- Lead recruitment and selection efforts. Partners with manage throughout the recruitment process (creating of the job descriptions, job posting, resume review, interview coordination, candidate evaluation, reference checking, and offer)
- Coach managers regarding employee relations and performance management topics
- Orientation and onboarding of new employees
- Compliance
- Manage all required state and federal reporting obligations
- Ensures HR practices align with agency-specific certification requirements
- Participates in agency safety program
- Manages workers’ compensation program
- Policy development, implementation and communication
The ideal candidate for this position will possess:
- Solid HR Generalist experience, typically gained in 5 + years HR Generalist roles
- Current knowledge of employment law and best practices
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Curiosity regarding agency operations and how things work from a business perspective
- Service mindset / enjoys working with and supporting a team
